Viol-secours is a voluntary organisation engaged in the struggle against sexual violence against women. Our position is that all violence is unacceptable and we analyse the phenomenon from a feminist point of view. We focus on two aspects. The first is to help and support women who have been victims of sexual abuse, through a telephone helpline, face-to-face and group counselling. The second is prevention and involves projects such as training in self-defence. We also talk to school pupils, advise students who are carrying out research into violence against women and lobby the authorities. We provide: telephone helpline; telephone counselling; face-to-face counselling; legal support; and information.
