We provide a helpline for women victims all kind of violence: psychological, economical, physical and sexual. We provide free legal and psychologist support for victims.

Opening hours:

Our helpline is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1.00 pm to 7 p.m.

Fundacja Feminoteka działa od 2005 roku, od 2009 prowadzimy telefon inetrwencyjny dla kobiet doświadczających przemocy, bezpłatne porady prawne i psychologiczne. Fundacja Feminoteka została założona w 2005 roku, jest organizacją non-profit od 2009 roku ma status organizacji pożytku publicznego (OPP). Celem Fundacji jest działanie na rzecz likwidacji dyskryminacji ze względu na płeć we wszystkich obszarach życia społecznego, publicznego czy kulturalnego. Jednym z priorytetowych działań fundacji jest przeciwdziałanie przemocy wobec kobiet. Prowadzimy szkolenia, konferencje, warsztaty, organizujemy spotkania, promocje książek, dyskusje, targowiska twórczości kobiecej i wydajemy książki.

Od samego początku działalności jednym z priorytetowych celów fundacji jest przeciwdziałanie przemocy wobec kobiet.

Telefon interwencyjny dla kobiet doświadczajacych którejkolwiek z form przemocy: seksualnej, fizycznej, psychicznej, ekonomicznej jest czynny we wtorki, środy I czwartki od godz. 13.00 do 19.00. Udzielamy także bezpłatnych porad prawnych i psychologicznych. Pomagamy także kobietom transeksualnym.

Objectives of the Feminoteka Foundation:
Acting for eradication of discrimination due to sex in literature, culture, art and public life,
Supporting and propagating the issues of women, gender and feminism,
Promoting authors, publications and publishers devoted to broadly defined women’s issues,
Promoting equality between women and men,
Counteracting violence against women,
Counteracting discrimination due to sex,
Supporting participation of women in public and cultural life,
Eradicating barriers in access to knowledge about new technologies,
Propagating the knowledge of new technologies among women.
Prevention of violence against women and girls and gender stereotypes are one of priority topic in our organisation. Each year we run several projects in this area.. We organize workshops., conferences, debates, actions, educational campaigns for individual women, NGOs and other institutions, publishing manuals, leaflets and brochures and last but not least taking part as experts and panelists in many anti-violence events.
Our team conduct lectures and presentations for organizations and services on the situation of women in Poland, including the situation of women experiencing violence and consequences gender stereotypes for girls and boys, women and men; in every year we have co-organized a campaign as a part of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence and since 2013 we organize One Billion Rising – action against gender violence in over 50 towns and cities in Poland.
Through this Feminoteka wishes to reduce the scale of violence against women and girls in Poland. Within the framework of the project there are also carried out: awareness campaigns, debates devoted to the problem of gender-based violence as well as workshops for women, girls and social workers who are obliged to intervene in each case of violence.
The Feminoteka team are female experts and coaches specializing in anti-violence and anti-discrimination trainings for groups as varied as teachers, employers, public institutions, schoolgirls and non-governmental organizations. Feminoteka’s employees are highly regarded as experts in the area of preventing and counteracting violence against women and therefore the team are frequently invited to meetings, consultations or conferences on the subject. Institutions, organizations and academic centers both in Poland and abroad.
