Rape Crisis (England and Wales) is a registered charity and the national umbrella organisation for rape crisis centres in England and Wales. We support the work of local centres and aim to develop new centres in areas where there are no or few specialist services.

Rape crisis centres provide crisis and long-term specialised counselling, support and independent advocacy for all women and girls of all ages who have experienced any form of sexual violence recently and/or in the past; centres are community-based, and independent of government and the criminal justice system.

Helpline open every day 12 noon - 2.30pm and 7 - 9.30pm. We reply to emails within 24 hours.
