Rape Crisis Centre Tukinainen offers nationally professional help and support for women and girls who have been sexually abused or assaulted, as well as providing guidance for persons close to them. Tukinainen offers therapeutic and legal services to victims of sexual violence and abuse. Tukinainens therapeutic services are free crisis telephone, different kinds of groups, weekend courses and personal appointments with a crisis counsellor. Tukinainens legal services are free legal consultation and legal assistance.
Tukinainen provides co-operation, consultation and training for professionals, authorities, organisations and educational institutions in a variety of fields. Tukinainen also influences the professional and legal procedures, as well as the authorities and public opinion to decrease and prevent sexual assaults on women and girls.
