Information:
The Counselling Centre for Women and Girls is an institution, which aims at the reduction and the uprooting of violence against women in society. Its contribution is part of women's movement in Albania not only through provision of services, but also through raising awareness, lobbying and rights protection, training and research in this field.
In order to accomplish its mission, the Counselling Centre for Women and Girls;
1. Offers counselling and psychosocial services through counselling Lines in Tirana, Shkoder, Pogradec and Berat, individual and group counselling.
2. Operates in an organized and professional way in urban and rural areas.
3. Aims at setting up, based on clearly defined criteria, similar Counselling Centres in other areas of the country, which shall provide psycho-social services for the respective area and become reference points to all the organizations and institutions, that undertake initiates in areas related to violence against women.
The Counselling Centre for Women and Girls also offers information, expertise and the necessary training in the framework of the war against gender violence.
